Equine Flu vaccinations are mandatory for all horses attending the Scottish Horse Show and they must be in possession of an Equine passport and vaccination certificate. The animal must have received two injections for primary vaccination against equine influenza given no less than 21 days and no more than 92 days apart. Only these 2 injections need to have been given before an animal can attend the Scottish Horse Show. In addition a first booster must have been given no less than 150 days and no more than 215 days after the second injection of the primary vaccination before an animal can attend the Scottish Horse Show. Subsequently booster injections must be given at intervals of not more than one year apart. Random spot checks will be implemented.
